Bowel Cancer NZ News

I’m passionate about doing the Move your Butt challenge this June as my father died of bowel cancer when I was 16 and my father-in-law also died of this disease 2 years ago. Both deaths would have been preventable if they had gone to the doctor sooner. I am acutely aware that bowel cancer is something that may impact my son’s health in the future.

I am enthusiastic about Move your Butt as I always like to have a goal, so working towards that is motivating for me (I’m one of these goal orientated type people). It’s a great excuse to keep me moving in June (the middle of winter) while avoiding adding any of that winter ‘excess’.
