Finding Support

A key objective for Bowel Cancer NZ is to provide support for patients and whānau going through bowel cancer

Join our Bowel Cancer Patient & Whānau Support Group

Our Facebook group works as a forum for people to discuss bowel cancer and their journey with people going through similar experiences as themselves in a supportive environment.

It is a closed group to allow people maximum privacy, only members of the group are able to see the posts. We are happy for whānau to join but it must be a close family member undergoing treatment. We also have group rules to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere.

When you request to join you will be asked to answer a couple of simple questions. One of these is that you live in NZ, otherwise we find treatments and procedures are too different.  If at least two questions aren’t answered you won’t be accepted. We do this to protect the privacy of our members.
