Well, we are into May and I have changed my challenge to the following:
20 burpee/press ups + 30 reverse crunches + 30 squats + 20 mountain climbers
This equates to a total of 100 repetitions, representing the 100 lives that will be lost in June from this disease. My goal is to do the 20 burpees at the beginning, but right now it’s more like 15 at the beginning, 5 at the end.
It’s been 1½ years since my son was diagnosed and he has just turned twenty. I couldn’t be more proud of him and the way he has handled his journey. He has given me great courage and the motivation to help others by participating in the Move your Butt challenge to help raise awareness. Let’s get moving New Zealand!
