Becca Project creator Carlie has released a new body oil, La Mère Diana, in memory of her mother, Diana, who passed away from bowel cancer.
Carlie writes, “My mum was my brave and gracious warrior who fought until the very end to stay in our lives. We’re dedicating La Mère Diana (the mother Diana) to her because it’s another way to honour her.
She was a huge fan of our body oils and would rub them into her sore, cracked hands and feet after chemo, and this gave her some welcome relief.
We’ve mixed a combo of her favourite oils, and the bottle design is a tribute to her style and grace.
We’re donating $1 of each sale to Bowel Cancer NZ to raise awareness and fund the research to work towards preventing this horrible disease.
The more we know about bowel cancer, the better the chances are of beating it. It’s too late for my mum, but she’d love to know that each sale of her oil will contribute in some small way to preventing others from going through this in the future.”
