Brad’s Story

Brad and his Dad, David

My dad David has been battling terminal bowel and liver cancer over the last 15 months. Dad is a fighter and that’s what he has been doing, not only physically but mentally.

For those that know dad and I, know the special bond we share. He is not only my dad he is also my best mate. To see my dad and family suffer tremendously with the devastating effects of cancer has been beyond words at times. Unfortunately, I am also aware of how many people can sympathise with these feelings. Cancer does not discriminate, sadly we all know someone either directly or indirectly affected by this deadly disease.

For me to feel I can give something small back in these trying times as well as honor my dad and his willingness to fight this disease head on, I have decided to raise funds for Bowel Cancer NZ.
On the 9th of April 2022, I will be cycling for 2 days, covering 250km from Christchurch to Lake Tekapo, which is where dad grew up and holds many great memories.

Interested in cycling with me or being a business sponsor? Any extra support is welcomed! Please get in contact and we can make this happen – Bradley.Eiffe@ideal.co.nz.

Thank you so much in advance and I look forward to the challenge ahead.
Ngā mihi,
Brad
