There’s no better feeling than raising money for a great cause, especially one that may have personal meaning for you. Many of us will know someone who has had bowel cancer. Some of us may have our own story to tell. So why not come up with a fun event, activity or challenge and make a real difference, your way!
It’s easy to fundraise your way
Your fundraising activity means a lot to us, so we’ve tried to make it as easy as possible for you to get started – and to help you out along the way!
Start by getting creative and thinking up a fundraising event that suits you. Whether it’s a movie night for your community, a muffin-and-morning-coffee at work, a bake sale at the local school, hosting a lunch or dinner at your place, or a personal Cape Reinga to Bluff cycling challenge, we’d love to support you.
We’ve partnered with Grassrootz, an online platform where you can set up your fundraising page, share it, and start collecting donations right away. We’ve also put together a list of helpful fundraising tips and event ideas to get you started. Or if you have any questions please contact us.
Another good option is to ask your supporters to donate via The Good Registry. It’s also a wonderful way to help or honour someone affected by bowel cancer, by requesting donations to a Good Gift Registry in lieu of flowers or presents. Click here for more details.
