Cottonsoft has stood alongside Bowel Cancer New Zealand since 2013, making them our longest-standing sponsor. From participating in major fundraising events and supporting awareness campaigns, to putting life-saving information about bowel cancer in front of millions of Kiwis, their commitment continues to make a real difference.

This Bowel Cancer Awareness Month (BCAM), Cottonsoft is once again helping take our message straight into Kiwi homes. Selected CottonSofts toilet tissue packs continue to be labelled with key bowel cancer symptoms – bringing critical health information into one of the most relevant spaces in people’s lives.

They’re also running a focused social media campaign throughout the month, using their platforms to help spread the message even further and prompt early detection.

Country Manager of CottonSoft NZ, Kim Calvert’s family story is a strong reminder of why awareness matters:

“I know first-hand how important early detection is. After my father passed, my sister and I started regular colonoscopies. They’re not cheap and not everyone has access- but they save lives. We need to keep pushing for more awareness and better access to screening across the country.”

Cottonsoft’s support helps us do exactly that – amplify awareness, support patients, and continue to push the government to lower the screening age so we can protect a million more Kiwis.

Peter Huskinson, BCNZ CE, adds:

“We’re incredibly grateful for the innovative, long-term partnership we have with our friends at CottonSoft. Their financial support has enabled us to do so much for Kiwis with bowel cancer. Even better, putting the lifesaving message about what symptoms to look out for into millions of homes across New Zealand plays a huge part in our mission to see a New Zealand where nobody dies of this beatable disease.”

From product packaging to online advocacy and team involvement in campaigns like Move Your Butt, Cottonsoft continues to help us save lives – and we’re proud to call them our partner.
